    Exercise makes high better?

    We got a treadmill for Christmas and Iā??ve been walking and running like crazy on it. Iā??ve noticed that the days that I run on it during the morning/day, if I smoke that night, I get WAY high. Not just really high, but like ā??first time youā??ve ever smokedā? type high. Not sure why it would have that effect. Itā??s almost like exercising makes my body gets rid of any tolerance Iā??ve built up.

    It would be interesting to see if other people have experienced this same phenomenon or if itā??s just some kind of fluke or something.

    Well thats funny you say that, whenever i smoke, after awhile sitting there all high, for some reason i feel like working out, and i can work out for a longer period of time which is pretty weird.

    When your excercise your body releases endorphins and its own natural cannabinoids. Cannabis and exercise are synergistic.

    I think it kinda makes sense. While you're working out, you're getting your blood and lot of oxygen flowing through your system, which allows the THC to dissipate out more. Also you're sweating out a lot of fluids, which I guess makes for an almost "detox" environment/effect in your body.

    But THC is stored in fat, so I don't know if exercising affects your fat (I heard you first burn off the food already in your system, then if you burn off all that, only THEN do you start to burn off fat). Another theory is that the heavy breathing you do when exercising can expand the lungs and increase lung power and thus possibly make your lungs able to absorb more THC afterwards.

    But I did definitely notice that on days I exercised, that night I got a killer high. It really is like exercising is like a mini detox. Sometimes I used to purposely work out just bc I knew I'd get a better high that night. I think I should start doing that again. I used to exercise and look forward to smoking a bowl afterwards. Smoking would be my motivation for exercising. It sounds lame, but that was the best motivating factor ever.

    Anyway, it's basically common sense. If you have one stoner who just sits around all day and lives an unhealthy lifestyle, and another stoner who exercises a lot and lives a healthy lifestyle, which one do you think will have a lower tolerance?

    Hey that's neat. Thanks for the info. I knew about the endorphin thing already but I didn't think of it till now. Endorphins and weed kick ass! And I didn't know our body can make its own natural cannabinoids. They should make something so that we can produce mass amounts of natural cannabinoids ourselves.

    Anyway, my old dealer used to always smoke out before he lifts weights. He's now totally buff (he's a trainer at the gym), and he says it's all bc of weed. I guess smoking it before lifting weights make you able to lift more, or something. So I guess weed is good for lifting weights, but I don't know if weed is good for aerobic workouts (running, etc). I tried smoking and doing Tae-bo, but it just wasn't working out. I became so uncoordinated it was ridiculous.

    ...and it basically takes no coordination to lift weights, so...it will work

    Aerobic activity will tend to expand your lungs... THis has obvious benifits

    Speaking of which, I need to start riding again...

    yea man, i lift 4 days a week at school and later that night smoke a small bowl to myself and get real high most all the time

    haha i just finished working out and i blazed about a full bong bowl and im pretty dam high. and i have an insane body buzz going on here im tripping. ya id like to say i totally agree with u guys about the body being a filter during excersise. which is sweet.

    now i can b buff and trip out lol
