oh well i didnt mean its like bad for you but i was thinking taking the smoke out of your lungs makes you not as high... like i have seen kids who are trying to be cool or w/ever but they still dont want to smoke so they take a hit and swallow it so it looks like they are smoking. its just annoying to me i wish they just wouldnt smoke so i could get more haha shit

LOL..uhhhh dude...carcinogens actually MEANS cancerous...that it promotes the development of...dun dun dunnnn..CANCER. So yes, holding those in gives them time to be absorbed in your lungs and actually harming you down the road.

here's a fascinating question, why do you care if someone holds their breath for longer? it's their lungs, let them do what they want with it. no reason to get preachy.
and by the way, i've been searching around the internet for awhile now looking for "proof", and all i've found is forum posts. still waiting on that proof..

Those who smoke marijuana have no higher risk of developing lung cancer than one who smokes nothing at all...so says a population study that I've read in the past, indeed that's what carcinogen means but thousands of people don't die from lung cancer from pot every year as do those who smoke cigarettes..strange

holding your hits in isnt going to get you higher. it will feel different, in the same manner you feel slightly different if you hold your breath for 20 seconds compared to breathing normally. there are carcinegons, and it that means technically they can cause cancer. it never has though. coffee also has carcinegons as well as many other things you come in contact with on a daily basis. however, holding your hits in is going to make you get a smokers cough pretty quick. basically i dont think it is severely bad for you and will guarentee it wont give you cancer, but it has been scientifically proven that it doesnt get any more thc into you and therefore doesnt get you any higher, so stop being like well fuck all that i know it. it is called being light headed you nimrods.
