glass...the hole in the bowl shouldnt be too large...check for cracks and leaks...good seals...go more than one place before you buy...the right pipe usually jumps out to me... almost picks itself...a carma thang....peace

I just want a small hammer or a spoon or something similar; you know, something that is easy portable (but more than a one-hitter). The reason I ask is that a friend told me that you should buy a pipe with someone who is experiance so as not to get ripped off. So, what are the ups and downs of various aspects of different pipes.
