If you don't have a loupe for that digi cam it's really not gonna help much, I've tried..also I'm not trying to sound hard on you just trying to give you motivation to go out and buy a scope...they're only like freggin $13 lol! Go get one for your plants, I think it's very important.

I'm lucky, my Fuji S700 takes pics as close 1 cm from the target.
