Bill Cosby and Johnny Depp both have homes in my area.
As for local celebrities who not everyone might have heard of, the celtic folk music scene around here has produced some pretty amazing musicians who have gone on to national fame, like Jay Ungar and Rod Miller.

Jay Unger is well known in New York City and Upstate New York. He has had many other bands and musical projects, before and during the celtic music. He's done film soundtracks and various types of music including old-timey American folk, rock (Cat Mother and the All-Night Newsboys), and swing. Where is he located now?

I'm not sure exactly but my third cousin and I are both Irish fiddlers and were in the Adirondacks this weekend when Jay's name came up (of course everyone knows Ashokan farewell, from the Civil War soundtrack, lol)- he was in W-Mass last time I knew his whereabouts.

At the town that my college is in there's this guy who thinks he's superman. They call him the St. Cloud Superman. He sits on street corners and by the dairy queen with an american flag and doing the generic superman pose in his superman outfit. He's like 50 or so, overweight, and psychotic. I think he actually has sexual assault charges on his record and is banned on the campus of my school. Lol these pics are from before he became overweight. For Halloween next year I want to get a superman costume and go stand next to him on the street corner, kinda like his mascot. hahahha
