In Connecticut, theres this guy who goes by the name of Skankin' Richard. If you've been to a ska show in the parts of NYC, NJ, and MA that border CT you've seen Skankin' Richard. He's about 60 years old and goes to basically every ska show in the area. For an old guy, he's a really good skanker too. Talk about some local celebs in your area.

Neither did I, it's not a person, but in my town there's this fake polar bear on someone's yard on a main road. They always dress the bear up according to season and holidays, and when they don't dress it, people actually go and dress it up for the homeowners and bitch about it on the newpaper.

a so called local celebrity would be the gentleman who sits at us 29 south, about 6 miles before charlottesville (where i live) waving at people.

i think he had a near death experience and decided that was how he would spend his days after he retired

I know of so many selebrites that live here, Selma Hayek, Oprah, Val Kilmer, when I was small Steven Segal used to live a mile from my house, I think he was traing and now hs like an Akido god. Their many more but those who I know and are my good friends I wont mention.
