If you start freaking out again, just stop.
Sit down, relax. Don't think about anything, just about how you are relaxed and sitting down.
Chill out, calm yourself down and enjoy.
Other than that, just make sure you know your comfort limits. If your not a big toker, smoke slowly and stop when you feel you like the effects.
