generally our aniimal breeding standards are very low and it shows in the resulting offspring. I could go on and on about american breeders but will stop before I pop my cork, lol.

Like for example how American Irish setters have lost a lot of their athleticism (look at how the show lines have an exaggerated slope to the back and shortened hind legs) and are hard as hell to train? And how if you want an Irish setter for a bird-dog, you almost have to look to Canada for a decent one?
