A temporary goodbye (Bird Update)

My dear friends, I will be offline for the next few days to be in the hospital to have some spinal fusion/laminectomy surgery. I will be beside myself with sadness not to be online and talking to everyone, and I hope you'll all be well and happy till I can get back on the keyboard and catch up with all the scoop.

Please behave yourselves and be kind and civil to one another while Iâ??m gone. Do this to honor me and the other mods, whoâ??re going to be stretched even thinner than we are now. Thank you to all those of you whoâ??ve been helping us out by identifying problems and reporting them. We appreciate you more than you know.

I trust Iâ??ll be home in about five days and back online as soon as they tell me I can sit up at a keyboard. Iâ??ll have my husband Dave touch base with P4B to let him know how Iâ??m doing as soon as we can make that happen, so P4B will update you here, most likely. Yâ??all take care and keep me in your good thoughts and prayers. Iâ??ll miss you all very much!

Just do what the doc says... don't lift anything heavier than a dinner plate for the first week or so then graduate to a laptop LOL

anyway....been there, done that. FWIW, the first couple of days after the surgery are hell, but after that you will have 100% improvement every day after that. I was back to work, full on, with no restrictions after 6 weeks.
I will keep you in my prayers.

Bloody hell.. in the hospital!.. I had no idea that you were going to have surgery! that makes me sad I hate hearing about other people in pain.. I hope you do get well soon em, you know everyone heres going to behave themselves especially me, its mostly (95%) nice people here anyway just the odd imature newbie..

Make sure you take it easy though, good luck and take care of yourself
