Half-life of THC
OK, so if I passed a 50ng/mL home test, then I know I am below 50. So if my half-life is at worst 10 days, then that means after ten days I'd be below 25ng/mL, and after 20, below 12.5 ng/mL? The test I had to take only cost my employer $20 at the lab, any chance the test had an initial cut-off below 50ng/mL at that price?

Congrats for having a complete understanding of halflife, you even understand that is the worst case scenario. But I think that $20 means the fee they get for collecting it unless they are doing instant tests. Usually the drug test costs $35-70 plus the fee for collection which they usually get $20. I doubt you will get the 20 ng/ml cutoff on immunoassay.
