One more funny thing its the surface area of the emitting bulb that counts. Than reflection cost you 10-20% per surface, plus glass or plastic.

Tv, VCR,Printer, and most things now are instant on ,which means it is powered up so it looks like instant on.

Could I run the 18 hour for only 12 hours, with say, an hour ON in the middle of the dark cycle to prevent flowering ? It WOULD save electric, but would i get enuff growth ? Comments appreciated. V.
