Old dresser going to cause problems?
I just found a wooden dresser in a storage room in the house that no one seemed to be using. i brought it into my room to take a look and when i was cleaning and vacuuming all the dust and stuff out of it, i turned it over. on the bottom of the dresser there was quite a bit of spider webs and the wooden skirt around the base was starting to turn a little hints of green and black. the bottom of the dresser is seperated from the bottom drawer by the cardboard things you see on the back of television sets and some dressers.
i was thinking about taking the fronts of the drawers off and just gluing the drawer fronts to the dresser to have a big hollow inside. then i would just take off the cardboard backing and work through there.
my only worry is the crap on the underside of the dresser. i managed to vacuum everything away but there may be something in the wood, idk. i didnt see and insects of bugs.
would this cause any problems?andy704 Reviewed by andy704 on . Old dresser going to cause problems? i would'nt worry about it if it bothers you that much spray it with some bug spray and let it air out for a day or two but it should be fine i hang hot shot insect traps in my grow closet and they take care of every thing from spiders to house flys their only about $8 bucks at home depot good luck with your grow

would you say 29x14x36 is big enough for a grow? this is my first time so i just want to try my hand at growing. how many plants should i be able to fit in there. i think i'm just going to do all cfl until i get more experience and another place to grow before i dish out on some hid. how many watts of cfl should i be having in there also?

Andy - If you're worried about that little bit of what looks like black mold, mix some household bleach with water and wash/spray the area. It will most likely clean up nicely.
Check in the closet/cabinet section- down the page a little from this section - and you will find all kinds of ingenious info about setting up a cabinet grow.
