Feminised or standard?
I've observed that you're likely to be more prone to hermies with feminised beans, however myself I absolutely HATE growing 4 plants and getting 2 or 3 males...the hermie factor doesn't bother me, I'd rather know what I'm growing will be a lady..:stoned:

Standard for sure. I'm squeamish about fem seeds. Plus they are a total ripoff.

Standard. I like the surprise. Like when you're not sure if it's male or female, so you take it home from the bar, go to the bedroom, turn off the lights, take down their pants and....SURPRISE!

so-called 'feminised' seeds are garbage ... seeds are already ridiculously high-priced, without paying more for faulty genetics ... hermie-prone, and ruinous to good seedlines ... patience ... you only need one good female, and ya can clone the hell out of her ... :smokin:

I would rather use feminized, after I was told about that Dutch Masters Reverse even though I never used it, it sorta stopped my fear of hermies.

I know at least one person on these boards who has used reverse for quite a while and has had nothing but positive and effective results from it, it does work...

oh, it may work, I'm not saying that it doesn't ... I only point out that touting a product you've "never used" isn't really helpful ... I, on the other hand, have only had a handful of males, in over 40 years of growing ... I have never used any substance in an attempt to influence their gender ... so, if I used this stuff, how would I even know if it worked ? ... thought to ponder ... I was told once, that tearing up a piece of paper, will keep elephants away ... I have seen no elephants, so far, does that mean the paper-tearing worked ?? ... I'm not trying to be a smartass, I'm just saying that non-blind tests would need to be done, to really prove it ... there's a lot of people that think SuperThrive is the cat's ass, too ... I'll debate that one, every time

I've grown standard beans twice, and first go was 1/3 female second go was 1/4 female...I'll never plant standard ones in my closet again...maybe outdoors if I could find a place, but I'd rather not waste buckets/soil/time/light/space on growing a male plant

Yeah that's why I was drawn towards it. I wasn't just drawn in for the simple fact it said it prevents hermies. I don't go for stuff that easily lol.
