Hash for the first time

Well first I'll tell the story,

My friend, his girlfriend, and me went over to our friends house to buy some weed, well he suggests that we should match him so we roll a 1 gram joint and smoke it and then he pulls out a little ball of hash and we pipe it. then we go drop his girlfriend off and me and my friend go back to my house, I roll 2 more .5 Joints and we go in the hot tub and smoke them. Then we go down stairs and were both really fucked and he falls asleep for a little bit and I wake him up and he heads home.

But what I wanted to talk about was the fact that I wasn't as high as I thought I'd be after smoking the hash, I mean I was pretty high, but I wasn't really fucked until we smoked the 2 more joints in the hot tub, do you think it was just low quality hash or what? Cause I wanted to try hash for a while and I just had not gotten around to it but if it isn't going to get me completely fucked I'll just stick to my dank buds cause hash is expensive around here.

Maybe I should make my own :jointsmile:

was it light brown? or dark brown to black? thatll determine if its good usually i think....and yea, make your own for sure:thumbsup:

theres a lot of methods for making hash. some methods are very easy. some are very difficult. google it. :thumbsup:

The colour means nothing.

Dark hash, light hash = if it's good, it's good.

Hash that's just been pressed will be very light brown, goldeny colour. That's just the colour of the trichomes.

Darker hash has had heat used to make it, and it's darker because it's oxydised.

You cant tell the quality of hash by colour.

What you can do, is look at it. What does it look like?

If it's got little specs of green in it, or anything else like that, it's not pure enough. Good hash should have nothing but trichomes, no plant material at all.

Sadly, some people put actual pollen in it too, from the male plants. The pollen has no THC at all, they just use it for filler.

Normally hash is about 2 times stronger than bud, some hash will be better, some will be shit.

Remember, hash has got a slightly differnt high to herb - much more slow and mellow.

I'd say give it a miss for awhile, then buy again at a differnt time - you might get lucky and be surprised.

At least you dont have to worry about SERIOUSLY bad hash like the UK. Soapbar is full of plastic, oil, wax and hay. Anything to bulk it out. It's disgusting and only about 5% THC.

I think, if you got any left, give it ago on it's own when your completely sober. And very quickly flame it just before you smoke it. Seriously quick though, you dont want to burn it at all!

My first time smoking my own kief was mind blowing. I never expected it to be so strong, but after that first time, it's never been the same. It just now gives me a very strong indica-type stone. Regardless, I haven't smoked any in a while but have a good amount of kief so I'm going to smoke a bong load of it now.

And yeah I've seen dark and light hash, this stuff didn't have any plant material in it but it could have had male pollen in it cause I believe it should have been stronger.

And yeah sometimes people do stupid shit here too tho, my uncle was telling me if you rub your hash between your hands and black comes off they put shoe polish in it to darken it out, but that soap bar is terrible.

Unfortunately I do not have any left but I'll be able to pick some up from a better source soon so I'll have to give it a shot.
