Those clones are exactly the right size.
Pharma is all over that: Less moisture in the soil, one per pot, revegging, etc.
I like the dip-n-grow because it has fungicide, doesn't go bad, and is cheaper than dirt.
I prefer to root in rapid-rooters rather than soil because they are inoculated with a benefical B subtilis that prevents rot, and soil is a pain to sterilize. It can be done by baking in the oven, but why bother! MMMM mud pies!
