Was banned? Why? I'm just curious as to what gets you banned around here. I know it's in the FAQs, but he wasn't a bad guy. What'd he do? C'mon! It's a community!-We have an obligation to know what's going on around here.

however i was wondering the same thing... but if he got banned he did something... flaming possibly, hook ups and what not could be a reason as well... it actually takes a bit to get you banned... just cuz you break a rule doesn't mean you get banned...

Yeah. I can't just overlook his termination. I liked reading his posts and it's depressing to see him banned. He seemed like a rather respectful fellow...

well unless he did something really bad he'll be back within 3-7 days...
it's pretty hard to get a perma-ban, so he'll be back don't worry about that...
to get a permaban you have to keep coming back and causing more and more shit til the mods are just so sick of dealing with you..

Darth Vapor is relatively new unless he is an old member posting under a new name because of a previous ban. With that said the term termination may be premature because it usually takes a couple of infractions for a permenant ban. I know some infractions are worse than others such as spamming and such but I'm not exactly sure.
It doesn't take rocket science to imagine why DV may have got a vacation. I like his sense of humor but it is can be crass and offensive and obnoxious to some. Since this site is privately owned, this style of humor may not be welcome because it may represent the site badly or draw the attention of others possibly forcing the site to be shut down. I know one of his posts in the sexuality forum was deleted last night or this morning as it stuck in my head but was gone and although I thought it was funny I could easily see how some might find this offensive as well as some of his other posts. He tends to push the envelope just like any one seduced by the dark side of the force.

Well there's funny, and there's offensive....he choose to take the latter once and is on vacation because of it.
And yes, slip is right...we try and keep those things under wraps as no one really needs to know besides the person banned. Sure it's a community, but even a community has activity behind closed doors...
The phrase "curiosity killed the cat" comes to mind haha...so ganj, I guess my question is, how many lives do you have left?

More than the cat, apparently. I've never been a fan of limitations.
