Why did overgrow.com get shut down????

Because there was illegal activity on that site.. People well registered users werent following the rules. PArt of it was a scam theres A NEWS ARTICLE on google if you actually want to read into it

I had the same question. I never viewed the site went looking for this thread after hearing about overgrow.com here and there throughout the for, but I have not found anything but a brief mention without any details. OahuLocal, do you have the link to the Google article? Or is there anybody out there who enjoys weaving a tale?

I don't think any site is free of risk of being shut down. If I were running a site like this I would pull a pirate bay stunt and move my servers somewhere legal. You know these pigs are just looking for any excuse to shut down every single one.
