How can i tell indica from sativa?

how can i tell from bud or when its already broken down if the weed is sativa or indica? i like to know what im smokin before i do, thanks

Well, indicas will normally have darker plant matter, and sometimes be a bit denser [then again, it could be compressed and that'd mean nothing]. That's about it. Otherwise theres no way to tell, in bud.

You could tell if the plant was still alive - but you dont have plants.

So, nope, theres no way for you to know untill you smoke it.

Indicas = Shorter, broader leaves
Sativas = Longer, thinner leaves

That's how I distinguish between the two... although, most herbs are a combination of the two.

Smoking is, usually, the only way to be sure.
