    question for atheists

[quote=delusionsofNORMALity]of course. quite a few of the exclamations we use every day contain religious references. i've also been known to use the term "son of a bitch" when referring to people whose parentage i know nothing about and i sometimes call particularly offensive people assholes even though they only vaguely resemble that particular part of the anatomy. such exclamations are not meant to provide information, but to provide emphasis.

so basically ur saying u react b4 u think and to think u did'nt strike me as that kindda person

no, what i said was that such exclamations are used for emphasis. by using the word god in such a situation, we are actually signifying that the concept of "god" is of little or no importance and that it can be cast off as an idle remark.

    question for atheists

God is Imaginary - 50 simple proofs

Read it. Don't be afraid to read it... it might open you up to new views. I know most christians, catholics, etc, would be afraid to read such a thing. And even if they did, they always rationalize that the website is Satan's doing, or something. Read it anyway! Open yourself up to new views - Christianity might not be the only answer.
