ok I went to arraignment yesterday....plead not guilty. the maximum jail time for manufacture marijuana in oregon is....20 years!the max for possesion of more than an ounce......10 years!
so basically for my few small plants (thats all I had by the time they searched) Im lookin at a 30 year term in state penn.
of course I dont expect it to go that way but DAMN! thas alott.

i think i missunderstod you then, and was a bit jumpy couse everytime serius persons write something, some (Troll) always tryes to beat it to the ground and most of the time they dont now nothing about it and just wanna fuck up a good post.

and dive fuck that is a lot of time and i think they stand good in terms of evidence, with them geting you with plants in your home!
but for maximum sentenc they prob would have to have found some more criminatin things, as weights/scales sales lists/I.O.U`S, loads of unacouteble money, kids runing around the plants to state the point that your irrissponsible and careless.
i therfore dont think you would get max time have you ever been caugt before or are you a first timer?
in dk that would get you of with a fine or some punishment working for the goverment, cleaning freeways ect.

this is my first time facing this particular charge. I havent seen my attourny yet (I will two days from now),he sent me a packet of the D.A.'s evidence and a copy of the "DEAL" they're gonna offer.as I said they charged me manu./poss. of over an ounce....both felonies.they offered to drop the manufacture if a plea guilty to possession of over an ounce.according to the lab report I was in possesion of exactly 14.8 grams (plants/weed total)so they will have to drop it to a misdemeaner possesion.when they drop the charge down to a misd. the D.A. might make a new "DEAL" arrangement,or they may let me plea to misd. possesion. I will know more on thursday and post the new info.

This is a possible scenario-
Very likely you can plead that the state has enough evidence to convict you on one of the charges (not a guilty plea, it gets entered as continued without finding) as part of a deal to drop the other. You would then be put on probation for a number of years after which time the charges would be dropped if you don't get in any more trouble.
I was recently arrested for a pair of felonies and got one charge dropped for agreeing that the evidence was enough for a conviction. This is REALLY common where I'm from (MA).
If you DO get in trouble or violate yor probation in any way, the downside is that you've waived your right to a trial and have to serve the time.

Sounds to me like you may want to approach them with an offer to plea no contest to a misdemeanor possesion, before they get any more passionate about your particulate case. Similar to what Stinky's saying. You could also propose 1-2 years probation with like 6 months suspended. Maybe you get lucky, couldnt hurt.

Here in the US they actually take your prints and all that when they book you, take your picture, match it to your driver's license or state id, etc. If we could do that here, OMG, people would be getting just kidnapped off the streets all the time and taken to jail and whoever took them there would say "I stopped this guy from skipping bail" or whatever. It would be total chaos with innocent people taking the fall every day.

I went and saw my attorney I pointed out to him that the felony possesion was actually only a "violation" apparently possesion of less than an oz. is not even a misdemeanor here.....so he's talkin to the D.A. about a new plea bargain. I'll know more in a cpl days.

they do here aswell but they tend to get sloppy with there work only reason it works tipical the danish police

theres just been a case where a special designed sell phone
"bug phone" where placed in the briefing room in a police station where one of the bigges hash ditributing cases were to be solved and most of the evidence culdent be used couse they where posted all over the news:rastasmoke:

if it was still possible to get your lisence and grow i think i would go with that one...
i once fucked up in the army and got in a huge fight with an supirior officer and to other with same rank as i, i faced a longtime jail sentence...but my attorney and i talked them into a deal where i just paid them a huge fine left the army and got to keep my civil job and no record was written in my papers of the insident
if it where in my criminal records i would have lost my civil job asswell. (security)
