have ? about tall seedlings

is it worth keeping tall seedling? the reason i ask is because i watched the green man vid and he tossed the first clones he had that he was using to test for male/ fem. he said because the stalk could'nt hold the weight of the buds.just wandering cause i have 2 ice thats way taller than the rest.i mean so tall there leaning over. i had to prop them up i put a lite breeze on them to try to toughen em up.and why do they get so tall and all the others don't?

all are around 3 inches and these 2 are about 7 inches so what gives? and also every batch iv'e started no matter what im growing it does the same thing but more so of the cannabis seeds.

i have them under 1000w mh about 1 1/2 ft above

drop your light as close to the tops of the seedlings as possible. If there are no heat issues then you should be fine. Just so you know, ice tends to grow a bit taller than some other strains.

You can replant them deeper into the ground, say up to the first node, and they will be fine. By scraping the stem lightly in the area to be buried, that portion will grow new roots like a clone giving more stability.

Only caveat, don't overwater after burying, you don't want rot around the base of the stem. Water, but don't keep it sodden.

ok thanks for the info i had 2 ice and the others are ww and c and none of them are doing it so that might be what it is then thanks deft and maj im using dwc so i can't go to far down
