I know in my state the statue says it is not illegal to have sex with someone younger that 18 years old as long as he or she is above the age of 16 and you are not over 21 years of age. The only reason I know this is one of my girlfriends mothers tried to file charges against me in the case of statutory rape. well obviously it went no where because I was only 20 and she was 17 and she consented in mutual sex. So there is some hope but like everyone has said it is different in every state. Just look up your states statutes
levi.wohlford Reviewed by levi.wohlford on . 4 year 364 day younger/older law in TN I've heard from numerous (other teenagers, not exactly reliable) people that if a person is 18 or older, it is legal to have sex with a person under the age of 18 as long as no more than 4 years and 364 days seperate their ages. I can't find this anywhere on the net, and I really don't think it exists. And this law is also in tennessee so iv'e heard. Rating: 5
