the longer it goes without being smoked the dryer / harsher it becomes. You can keep it in an air tight container but that will invite mold as well. Personally I wouldn't smoke anything that was more than 2 months old.

Would is start getting moldy or something or weigh less? I remember one time i got an eigth and then went on holiday for a month forgot all about it and when i came back it was harsh as fuck!, but that also might of been because i went for a month without weed Hmm... lol.
