every day i sow dissension among the townsfolk of my community by merely existing. mothers hide their children, husbands fear for the safety of their wives and small children run in fear because i am what they most dread. i am free.

free of the constraints of society's injustice, i am seen as a danger to the american way of life. according to the law of the land i am an outlaw, i should run and hide, i should exist only in the shadows and fear the light of day. but here i am. i walk the streets in broad daylight, mingling with the law abiding and coexisting with the god fearing, contrary to the laws of man and god.

not only do i exist, i thrive. my success is what the citizenry fears most. i am the outsider, how dare i take my profits from those who obeyed every rule and did as they were told since the day they were born. how dare i succeed where so many innocent sheep have failed. in my life they see the futility of their own and the ruin of their carefully laid plans. i am the evil alternative which they denied and in my joy they see their own damnation.

yes, i am a terrorist. by my example is fear born. the fear that this society's superiority is nothing more than an illusion and that the prison it has created is meaningless. fear that the nonsensical restrictions heaped on the public are not for its own good, but to further confine them within the web they have been taught to believe is for their own safety. the fear that safety itself is a lie and that the chaos could be upon us all at any moment.
