Yeah its pretty intense man. Most people that listen to music dont have the knowledge or ability to comprehend and appreciate all the things that are going on all at once. It also helps to get ahold of the album and start at the beginning.. its basically like one progressive soundtrack, and starting from the middle can fuck things up. You can be confident though, that every note they hit, every instrument is 100% perfect. They manage to fuse that many instruments together, and do it better and more effectively than any other band you listen to. I guess Ill put it this way: if Unexpect were to play your favorite SOAD songs or any other band, you would be embarrassed that you ever liked the original version because it sounds so much sloppier. And dont worry I LOVE slipknot and SOAD, I just cant believe this new group.. blows my mind lol.
