Judge by the colour [maturity] of the trichomes. You want to get AT LEAST 80% cloudy, otherwise it'll be a weak pathetic high.

Once you've got the majority cloudy, your plant is ready - IF you want to cut it down.

If you want a slightly heavier stone, more indica feel to it, then leave it even longer and let some of the trichs turn amber.

IT's all up to you, the grower. The plant is looking nice, so when you've got the trichs cloudy the call is yours.

NEVER judge the maturity of a plant on the pistiles though - they mean nothing!
