I have been injured
So at work the other day I was injured a little. 2 days during the week I help deliver and repo. I cover for the 2 guys I work with on their day off. Anyways this customer requested pick up because she couldn't afford her bedroom suit but would come back and get it later when she because more financially stable. So we go out to pick it up.
We have to stand the dresser up on its end and turn it, and put it back down, to get it through the door. (Were in a trailer) While putting it back down the dresser slipped and I got pinned against the wall while the corner of the dresser scrapped down my calf. I didn't notice it at first but a min later my calf was burning real bad.
We get back in the truck and I pull up my pants leg and its already turning purple. That was 6 days ago. This bruise is huge. Its about 4 inches long and 3 wide. Its dark purple, light purple and yellow. I also have a few tiny scabs where the corner rubbed my skin off. It has started to itch like no other. I'm about to scratch my leg off.
If I had a camera I would take a pic. Have you ever had any incidents that caused a killer bruise or scar? Got pics?Dro_Princess Reviewed by Dro_Princess on . Hmm.. dont rub it, in case it is a clot, you dont want to move it. I would get it checked, this totally is the opinion of someone who knows nothing about these situations and cannot be held responsible for any decisions made because of this thread. lol...

The next day it was so sore. I also wore shorts the next day, and you know how people are. They poke it and ask does this hurt? Hell yeah it does. It hasnt healed yet. If I stabbed you would it hurt?

I can't do anything about the pain, but the itch is easy! Go get some tooth ache remedy and rub it on the itchy spots! It is up to 1/5 benzocaine- it's the stuff a lot of dentists use to numb your gum before they poke you. It's a great little topical anesthetic. I always grab a few tubes when I see it at the Dollar store. It's good for insect bites, too. Sunburn pain killers are often benzocaine as a spray or cream, so they will work too, but toothache remedy has the highest concentration.- Granny:hippy:

Awww, that sounds like it hurt like a SOB. Sorry. I'm sure you'll be ok though. If it keeps up, go get it checked. Get a pic! I actually do have a pic of me injured when I fell down ...doing something...but I can't post self pics here.
LMAO @ "if I stabbed you, would it hurt?" I can't rep you again yet.
When I first read the TITLE of the thread, I thought about that part in the Austin Powers movie where the guy gets thrown in the cell and he's like:
"You shot me! Right in the arm! Someone help me, I'm not dead, but I'm severly INJURED!"
ROFLMAO...sorry...do you know what I'm talking about? I tried to find it on YT, but couldn't.
