I really liked LP when they first came out [Hybrid Theory]...I liked their sound...they infused a few different genres into one. I also liked what they did with Jay, that was pretty creative. I haven't really heard anything newer by them though.

Anyway, some people would describe 'selling out' being in the public eye with music videos on MTV and all that. Well, if that's the case, they have been 'selling out' since their first album lol. But, who cares, the music was good.

But, I think Slip is talking about selling out the 'sound' which I don't know, haven't heard it.

I have a question though...many would say real hip-hop is dying fast [which, I understand...but Nas and the new Wu-Tang coming out soon pumps life back in]...but what about real rock and roll? It seems to have died a long time ago, which may be the reason a lot of people are living in the past as far as their choice of music goes?
