I would do it.

It's nice to smoke out of something you made from nature. A friend of mine made a pipe out of an old weed plant stalk....it was awsome!

I was thinking of making a wooden pipe from a fallen maple tree in my yard. =D Is this a good type of wood to use? Anyone have some good techniques or designs i could see?
