    curing in the refrigerator

... MJ should be stored in a "cool, dark" place ... last time I checked, the inside of a refrigerator is "cool" and "dark" ... also, refrigeration dehumidifies ... I store my buds in Mason jars in the fridge ... you will find, the buds will not only cure in the fridge, but they will also DRY out rapidly ... in fact, they will get TOO DRY, you will wind up placing a fan leaf, or lemon peel, etc., into the jar to maintain some humidity ... for maintaining freshness, refrigerator wins, hands-down ... but, you will have to replace some humidity :smokin:

"cool, dark" place....I agree...I also define "cool" as 65-75 degrees..(year around average)

I keep my jars in a bottom dresser drawer...about 65 degrees in winter...about 72-75 degrees in summer...been there since JAN 06...

and the couchlock weed has entered a new level.....:abduct:.....buds feel just like they did when I put them in.......

The lemon taste does transfer to the buds a bit, I use lettuce to do the same thing but without the taste.
Room temp always worked great for me, I pu em' in a drawer and let em cure. Next harvest I'll test this refridgerator theory with one jar and have my friends do the pepsi challange to see if it makes a difference.

I just used a lemon-peel as an example, because the sativas I grow mostly, have strong lemon-aromas ... I also use a fan leaf, when they're available ... I've noticed stronger aroma, with fruit peels, but I can't say as the taste was affected ... :smokin:

Your right image reaper it dosent transfer much taste (I can notice it, not strong though), and the big thing is the smell, it definately does add much more smell than taste, but its not a bad thing if an added aroma/ taste is what your looking for.
I never tried a fan leaf though, it never occured to me. I'll have to give that a try sometime.
