I really think the spiral fluoros do terrible. I tried it in the beggining and it didnt turn out as well as an alternative. I went to lowes, and they had these 18inch lights, that had the lights already wired into the housing and everything... Bad thing is, you cant change the bulb, but they're actually for indoor plant growing. They arnt that bad priced either.
