    I'm not allowed matches, my psychiatrist says so I don't know what the problem is, it was only a couple of barns,a shed, oh and my primary school

    The duck one has been disproven, they do echo! And i've heard them echo on the Norfolk broads!

    I wonder if theres any sites out there that list if myths are true or false?

    Actually no, I thought matches were invented first lol. Then why is it that back in the day everyone always had matches, I never seen any lighters when I looked at movies and documentaries of the past. And those guys were always using the sole of their shoe to spark that bitch lol.

    yeah i think so too lol, well oranman i know what you mean like in cowboy movies and stuff but its true.. look it up, they just werent as popular like these days you never really see people using matches in movies.

    Me too. For me it's one of those smells that conjures up childhood memories. I can remember when i was like 5, on holiday on a boat [this is what started my love for boats and mechanical engineering] and i can remember everytime my mum lit the gas cooker smelling that smell. And when they go out. Same smell reminds me of when my dad used to light his gas lamp for night fishing, while i was in bed. I could smell it coz my door was open and the galley[kitchen area] was right outside. They're good memories.
