Depending on the heat used to turn said weed into ash, and the type of weed itself, your ash color may vary from grey to white. Ive also seen black on occasion, but not often.

I hate to admit it, but I wonder the same thing 'cause I'm paranoid about wasting some good bud. I wanna be able to get every last molecule of thc that I can before sitting back to enjoy some tunes. I think I do "smoke" ash at the end of my tokin' sessions, but it's better than wasting any weed.

Like was said before, Ash has nothing in it that can burn, so no worries about that. Odds are you are getting some nice resin hits though.

Yep Yep. Otherwise I am sure on those rare occasions when I am dry, that I would have gotten something in my desperate attempts to see if there was any resin or weed left in the bowl.
