NYCD hydroponic closet grow
Since my thread in hydroponics deals mainly with my G13 grow I just finished, I thought I would share my smaller NYCD grow with the Indoor forum.
I have been growing in this 5x5 closet for a year now with 2 600 watt Lumatek digital lights. An 8" exhaust fan cools the lights and exhausts the closet. I originally grew soil with 30 3 gallon pots packed into the 5x5 area. My maximum yield was about 2.5 pounds with Cindy 99. However the annoyance of watering so many closely packed plants lead us to hydro and since we had had such great success with the recirculating deep water culture hydro system, we made a smaller version for this closet.
The clones had a rough beginning, but soon took off and we eventually got ourselves a near sea of green with only topping and pruning. They are about to be cut down this weekend, 9 weeks of flowering, but I wanted to show the life of the closet and also to help people understand that your clones can be different sizes in the beginning but eventually everything will even out.Racerx Reviewed by Racerx on . Really nice work on the canopy.
I also like the amount of yellowing you allowed just before harvest- not enough to slow the last growth, but enough to say the N is leaching out.
Fantastic job.
