Have you gone to work high?

Alright, I am high and I have to be at work in 2 hours. I smoked about an hour or a bit before ago, but I am still feeling it.

Ok, I will peak for about probably 25 minutes overall, but I will be pretty high (stoned) for about 4 hours overall just by one bowl. It is really good weed that I get.

So I do kind of go to work high. I can do my job efficiently because I just sit down all day and work on a computer. But sometimes I'll forget what I was talking about. I work in an office and deal with the dumbest bullshit ever. But its easy. lol.

I guess it all depends on the job in determining if it is ok to go in high.

I've had 2 jobs before I started going to college. I was able to go to the first one which was working in a music store and teaching the occasional guitar lessons to 5-12 year olds, so it was actually really fun high. The second one I worked at Geek Squad/Best Buy for about 6 months where I was completely unable to go to work high. I had to deal with customers all day, pissed off customers to say the least. It wasn't a good environment for a person that likes to toke. I'm glad I got out of there, I miss the pay though, but I want to be able to enjoy myself when I work.

I use to smoke, get high and goto work....

I don't do that anymore cause it ruins my concentration.

I look at weed as a substance where you shouldnt get high and need to do something that requires concentration.

I smoke before I go to work, and then with a couple of other people at lunch, but it's only because I have a very simple job.

i would do it some.. but it seemed like every time i did some crazy shit would happen.... shit would get weird and ...hmmm:stoned:

I did towards the end of my old temp job every now and then, like on Friday's. I didn't do it a lot because I would start to feel burnt out by lunch. I haven't at any other job, though. A good friend once said, "If you go to work stoned, you'll have nothing to look forward to when you get off!" I think there's a little truth in that. I think it makes the smoke more satisfying if you aren't always doing it.

my job is simple, i have smoked before it but i prefer not to just because im there so long id prolly fall asleep in the middle lol

I have before but don't like doing it. I deliver pizzas, so I'd have to remember the address, directions, the total price, and make small talk with ppl at their doors. When I was high, tips went down b/c I couldn't socialize much and I usually got lost at least once a night.

There's a lot of wisdom in that. I have friends that spend all their money on herb, then spend all their time smoking herb. I don't really see the point in smoking all the time b/c that is pretty much addiction.
