**Cool E3 2007 showings**
If you didn't realize it, this week is the famous E3 event for gaming. It's different this year from years past, now more of a behind closed door thing. Thought I'd showcase a few things that stood out.

Hmm, I thought Majora's Mask was in most ways better than Ocarina of Time. Wind Waker and Twilight Princess are/were good games that would have been outstanding had they not been so mindnumbingly easy. Zelda titles have never been known for difficulty but those two were just WAY too easy.

of all the titles you mentioned my prefrence is:
OoT
MM
TP
WW
of course the last two are based mostly on graphics and the game play i can get a feel for... i've never actually played the last two... i really hated MM tho... i remember when i got it, i played it for like an hour at most... then was like 'fuck this' and just put in OoT and played it for like the thousandth time...
just my opinion tho...

I don't mean this as an insult, but with Majora's Mask owned a lot of people because of the time limit and time changing aspect of the game. Being that you said you only played the game for an hour kinda shows it owned you to. I even quit the game in favor of other games and didn't complete it till a later date when I came back and started over. It was a good decision to do it. It had a better and darker storyline with much more fleshed out characters, the dungeons were better, the masks and time schedules added a whole new dimension to the game. The only thing I think I would complain about with Majora's Mask would be how few dungeons there are. There is not much more satisfying than collecting all the masks and turn them in for the fierce deity mask, and transforming into Oni Link.

Majora's Mask did not suck. Many aspects of the Zelda series were better in MM than in OoT, though I wouldn't consider it a better game. Majora's Mask was incredible. Still play it to this day once and awhile.
Some other good stuff from E3...
Guitar Hero III Trailer
Mario Kart Wii screens
Metroid Prime 3 vid
Can't wait for some of these games.

Well only giving a 30 hour game 1 hour chance to prove itself is not really fair IMO. Majora's Mask is a pain at first because nothings unlocked you have this time limit till the end of the world occurs, this odd save system to learn, and you're a frickin Deku scrub...Starting off just kinda sucks. But as you learn the reverse song of time and get through the first dungeon, and build up a few masks the game becomes exponentially better. Mainly because you have more tools to manage your time better, the idea of having to reset the clock becomes less and less of a "horrible" thing to do as within a couple minutes of play you can be right back where you left off, but with days of time ahead of you instead of minutes.
Really if you have some spare time I'd really suggest getting a rom of the game if you don't have it anymore and give it another chance.
As far as ranking the Zelda games that I've played.
OoTMQ > OoT = MM > LoZ > Twilight Princess > Wind Waker > LttP > LA > AoL

I like the first Zelda on the NES and the ones for gameboy. I think the others just took away from the simple greatness of those. Most of the original Nintendo franchises (mario, zelda, etc.) weren't meant for the gaming standerds of now. But still good to see Nintendo in the loop again!
