Almost everyone has a wire mesh strainer! Just let your pot get a bit dry and rub it through. Stems and seeds stay in the strainer, finely flaked pot falls through. And since it is a perfectly legitimate kitchen utensil, no need to hide it! Put the sifted pot in a baggie or jar and add a couple of drops of water to restore any lost moisture.
