Hi Newbie....Like you I am a housewife, 33, and I live in New Zealand. I have been a smoker for years, and can't even remember how it came to be. But to put myself in your shoes and think of what I would do is about the most help I can be to you...sorry.
To start with, I would not go to a school child to look for buying drugs. You must have some outside human contact? Just because someone doesn't look like a stoner doesn't mean they don't smoke. You will need to learn how to read ppl a wee bit, and then add cannabis into a conversation when the time is right. I'm not saying to come right out there and ask them to their face if they smoke or not, but just watch and observe their body language. You will know what to say and do when the time comes, its like a instinct or something.
But for your first time I do recommend that you start small and preferably with someone you know and trust.

I wish that was true, but it's not. I have a lot of trouble finding it. Where I live (and I think it's pretty much the same everywhere), you have to be friends with somebody in order to get a weed connection. It's not like you can just walk down the street and find a local drug peddler on every street corner.

Maybe in the 60s and 70s a lot of ppl smoked, so you could probably ask anybody and they'd know of somebody who smokes or someway to get weed. Nowdays, it's getting hard to even find somebody who smokes cigs.

So have you asked all of your friends (and maybe your husband's friends if he doesn't mind) if they know anybody who could sell you weed? Even if your friends don't smoke, they might know of somebody who does.

And if your friends can't help you out at all, then I guess you'll have to resort to talking to strangers and asking them. I wouldn't recommend asking your local cashier or a random person walking down the street. You might get lucky, but probably not. The only time you should ask them about weed is if the conversation leads itself that way and an opportunity arises for you to bring it up. But that happens very rarely in everyday life. Your best bet might be to seek out places like clubs and bars, or concerts, etc. It's more of an appropriate environment to ask drug questions to strangers, thus ppl are more likely to be open to helping you out.

But overall, talking to strangers about weed is always risky (you'll most likely end up looking weird, esp if you're a girl like me), and probably 99% of the time that person can't help you out. And even if they can, it's very likely that they might beat you up, take your money and not give you any weed.

Finding weed is hard. I feel extremely lucky to be able to find any right now. It's a miracle actually. So don't feel frustrated by everybody else finding weed so easily. They must have friends who smoke, so it's always easy to find weed that way. But for ppl like us without friends who smoke, weed is close to impossible to find.

So other than that, there's not much else I can suggest. I wouldn't order weed online, cause it's usually total crap scams. The only good online weed source is budmail, but he doesn't ship to the US.

weed is pretty rampant, u just can't see it. I've seen dealers walking around sometimes, sort of funny. I only mentioned stereotypes, because if ur walking around looking for shit, u don't know anyone, so u gotta use a visual aid, ie. pothead look. U see someone with red eyes, u say,"looks like some good chronic." If they say yeah, u say can u hook me up. they say what the fuck are u talking about, u say just kidding. I agree with pretty much everything you just stated above! lol. When i started tokin up only two of my friends did it... so I'd toke when they got some. Started talking to people (including people at my job) and found out more and more people who did it. Over time we'd make a point to toke up one day outside of work or something... and if I ran outta weed I could ask them if they know where to get any. Then I would meet the dealer, and get his number so i didn't have to go through anyone else. The group i'm in is quite a bit different than the group i was in 9 months ago. Basically all of my friends smoke weed, and I have a good 8 different dealers I can go through... Just give it time, get to know some people, and bring it up in a conversation sometime... it might just lead to the situation i'm in now: Weed anytime of the day, any day of the week. Just make sure not to bring it up too soon.

Ask around, friends of friends, strangers, the people in the hemp store, the people smiling with red eyes and a marijuana leaf hat eating a munch and listening to rap music, with a nice herby smoky smell about them, or a rastafarian, is probably your best bets...

teenagers- although someones mum coming up asking us for bud would probably crack us up, then we'd ask if you were a really dumb cop, then suss you out, find out how much you wanted, then get you some..

I adore this website, but i've never felt the need to respond to a question before. I go to Yale, and, I must say, it is so easy to find weed here. But, overall, it's like that at any school. My little sister goes to a community college, and, if she is correct, those places are swarming with potsmokers looking to pay for their habit by selling a little on the side. Of course, the age issue presented in the question may be a hell of a challenge, you should do fine to discreetly ask people in a non-threatening manner (worked into the conversation; you should pick a topic that lends itself to pot-smoking): "oh my, I was watching those silly cheech and chong boys last night, and wouldn't it be fun to get high? Hey...have you ever tried that?" So on, so forth
