Joke Threads.
It's got nothing to do with the fact they are just joke threads. It's not like the threads cropped up over time, which is expected. They were all made within minutes of each other. If they had kept going at that rate there would have been a fair few popping up. By the way, your attack was personal.

Some of the threads have been removed now. Not only that if you look at how many threads there are the existing ones could quite easily be used. Before you insult me again, my reasons are justified. Pointless threads do clutter the forum, especially over time. This is why in many forum rules they state to use the already existing threads. It also makes things like searching harder, and it will also take longer to get a search returned.
Not only that you'll find that if the forum gets too heavily loaded with pointless threads older ones will need to be purged for recent ones to remain. This means loosing classic threads from the past, which is not what we want to happen.
As I sad it's not just because it's a joke thread, I'd say it if several "I love weed" threads were to appear. It's just common sense to use the existing ones.
P.s CC, and Billion I think a Humour forum would be a great idea. Means you could go there to check out funny videos and jokes etc. with out it cluttering the lounge. Another obvious reason being if you want to read or see some jokes you know exactly where to go and what to expect.
