ok - so the weather in the UK has been outrageously bad.
    my first baby has flowered.
bugger all trichomes - just pistils.
when should i start the harvest - here are 2 pics of the flowers.
should i go now or wait for them to brown??

You still have WEEKS before harvest. That's why you are not seeing a good frost of trichomes. Your buds will be MUCH bigger by then too.
The hairs will start to go brown and when they are mostly brown, then you can start checking trichs for the milky/amber appearance that signals harvest time. They go from clear to milky to amber, and the point where you are starting to see a good number of them being amber is time to harvest.

It's a it difficut to say exactly, but it looks as though you are in your second week or so of flowers. Still six to eight weeks yet to go depending on several factors. What has worked well for me in past grows, is to watch for signs of the pistils changing colors. I stop all ferts, and water with a high carb water mix. If you will start watering with 3 to 4 tbs of mollasses per gal of water, (dont know the metric equivalent) you can almost watch your buds swell. High carbs the last two weeks, (three with a kush) will also give you a very sweet cure. This has been my experience...B

you still have a long way to go yet mate, depending on the strain up to 8+ weeks left, strange how your plants are flowering this early, normally dont start until mid august in the UK, good luck tho mate we have had a nice amount of sun latly, lets hope it continues

I had a few and they were getting to big - so pushed them inside overnight to force the flowering.
I am impatient and getting a bit freaked about being caught...
