Help needed fast

I am about to go to the doctor and he will probably test my urine and blood. Is he allowed to just randomly test me for weed? Can he tell my mom if he randomly finds that i have it in my blood?

I live in NYC.

Fuck. I dont know if she might ask for it though. This guy is our family doctor and if my mom asks him to do it he ight. Do doctors usually have weed testing equipment with them?

What's are the tests for? In almost every state, doctors are required to not say a word because of patient confidentiality. Hell, even when I was 16, my family doctor asked me if I had been smoking pot or doing drugs, because it was important to the medication he was going to prescribe. Unless your mom specifically asks for it, he won't tell.
