Rozerem (ramelteon)

Hase anyone heard anything good or bad about this sleeping pill? I googled it and couldn't find any real info that points either way. I just want to make sure its safe and all, with no really bad side effect.

I was given a 12 day sample of rozerem about 3 weeks ago because it takes me about 2 1/2 hours to fall asleep, and has been going on for about 2 1/2 years. Rozerem is complete shit! 3 hours later I wasn't the slightest bit more tired than normal. After about 3 nights I gave it up and got ambien instead. It takes about 30 - 45 minutes (usually 30) to fall asleep with it, and if you force yoursself to stay up you kinda walk as if you're drunk, and are in a slightly different state of mind. Bottom line: Rozerem = shit and isn't addictive cuz there's no effect! Ambien = good, and although you can only get about a 2 week prescription at a time (with breaks between) I don't find it addictive (I've gone days between uses). The good thing about rozerem, though, is that the sample pack comes with a free sleep mask and earplugs. yay....

P.S. I get headaches many times/week and neither has seemed to cause more of them or make them worse. No other noticeable side effects, except I'm not sure if the ambien makes me a little more tired than usual in the morning (and I usually wake up around 1p.m.-2:30p.m.

Well I have Migraines as well as headaches everyday, but we wonâ??t get into that it's a whole other thread in its self. I have been taking the Rozerem for a week or so and it seems to do very little to help me fall asleep or stay asleep, but its like I smoke then take it(Rozerem) when its time and go to bed 45 to a hour later and fall asleep in a hour to a hour and a half. Then it seems like I wake up after my high is gone and itâ??s like I'm back to square one. Not being able to fall asleep. I donâ??t know what to do the herb helps some with falling asleep but I use it to ease my head pains. I can't find anything that helps me fall asleep, this sucks ass.

P.S I didnâ??t get any free shit but a 12 day trial... I got ripped off....LoL

Ha, sorry to hear you didn't get any free shit lol. Seriously, try to get some ambien (maybe ambien cr for you, it has the extra ingredient to help you stay asleep). I took it just last night and if I try to stay awake, like I did, I act like I'm high. I was talking to my bro after I took it and he said I wasn't making any sense at all, and everything was funny. Anyway, ambien is the only thing that has helped me (I've tried soft sounds, warm milk, melatonin, rozerem, and probably other things I'm forgetting). Ambien and of course, bud.
P.S. I have the generic form of ambien, fyi.
