first time grower probs. need advice!!!!!!
let me start with what i have. 3 plants in a large soda cooler with a built in drainage hole and i would say the whole cooler is about 10-12 gallons. filled it up with possting soil and transplanted 3 plants which are from about 10'-13' tall. i mixed about a third bag of miracle-gro all purpose plant food. the plants looked good until i transplanted and mixed in fert. my plants overall look alright but sometimes the leaves look droopy and curl up and down. also one of the leaves on one of my plant have become all yellow and developed dark spots almost a blackish dark green in color. i dont know what i have done wrong, i light them about 16 hours light and 8 hours dark and use a 65 wat blue bulp and about another white lite. anyways i was hoping for some iadvice on the problem..... thank you

Pics would be awesome but first, I think you need a LOT more drainage. It sounds like possibly you have root rot from overwatering. BUT it's hard to say wihtout pic.s
Also, you should not grow multiple plants in one container.
Repot each into its own pot and allow the soil to almost dry out between waterings.

if I'm picturing this correctly, 1/3 of a bag of Miracle-Gro sounds way excessive, probably cooking your plants as we speak ... and your lights sound questionable, wasn't a very good description of them ... poor drainage, too ... it's frustrating, you can throw a seed out the window, and it will grow by itself ... :smokin:

thank you for the advice. like i thought there was going to be a list of things wrong with my set up, but i am a first time grower so please bare with me. so it sounds like i need pretty much a whole new setup, ok, expensive im guessing. i have been reading about mh and hps lighting and it sounds pretty good. do u know where i can get a combination package of the two or even sold seperately for a decent price, f.y.i. i am a college student, whome one could say doesnt have a whole lot of money.
ps --- i do have pics and tried to attach them but for some reason when i click on the attachment manager it says pop up blocked even though my pop up blocker is off, if i could send u the pics at an email adress i would be willing, however i dont kno if u guys r down for that or if it is allowed by cannabis.com

lose the tinfoil.
add drainage.
repot into individual containers.
lower your lights almost to the top of the plants.

first time grower probs. need advice!!!!!!
Hi!
I'm growing El Nino. One week ago, the leafs of one plant started to geting yellow, and now its dry. And now the other plants have the same problem. I started to use ph corrector 4 days ago, and now they are much worth than in the begining (pH 6/pH6,5).
But I have Ultra Haze and Nexus type of plants also in the same area and they are healthy. Please help me. (I'm thinking about it could be watering problem or maybe some insect, or PH?)
Thx
