Philips 70 watt "High Pressure Sodium" Bulb?

so...i would STILL need a ballast if i bought a really expensive bulb too...

You need a ballast for any grow bulb excluding the cfl's.....they have a self enclosed ballast right on the lamp itself.

Philips 70 watt "High Pressure Sodium" Bulb? just saw these Philips high pressure sodium bulbs..they clame to be high pressure sodium...but they're only twenty dollars, and i read somewhere that these are actually "Low Pressure Sodium"..is that true? says its a "Philips 70 watt, C70S62/ALTO" and everywhere i look its labeled as a high pressure sodium bulb...
