Most bongs are acrylic. I have both an acrylic bong and a couple of wooden pipes. I like to carve my own pipe. I have one made from black walnut, and the other is made from pecan. I think the next will be oak.

I would get a glass bubbler or double bubbler. You cant beat the cooling effect of water IMO.

I love that non breakable glass as a communal piece. If its in my private stock then glass glass glass all the way. Wood can collect bacteria so i tend to shy away from things of the nature (hey a pun! I hate puns). Good luck mate Cheers!

I too love stone, also jade pipes are nice ... but i choose glass because they always seem to smoke the best. I love my little ursula

Glass all the way. Gives you a smoother hit with no taste except for the wonderful taste of weed. Also they a pretty easy to clean and in my opinion glass look the coolest. However there are some cool looking ceramic, wood and stone pipes, but glass still takes the cake.
