Well congratulations, I actually prefer my vaporizer. But I didn't go and say that, because that doesn't at all answer his question. He gave you two options to choose from, but you instead chose a third you made up that didn't at all contribute to the thread he started.

But of the two options he did give, I would def go for the bong. :jointsmile:

Pipe is the only way to go when comparing bongs versus pipes. Bongs don't do much except filter out the THC and the taste. (Well, they filter out some of the tar as well, but don't think that is healthy. Why? Because they filter out the same ratio of THC as they do tar you just smoke more to get the same amount of THC.)

The only thing I'll smoke besides a pipe is a vaporizer. I think the reason most people prefer bongs to pipes is because almost every pipe in any given head shop is like 2 or 3 times too small! Not only do you burn your lips on those pipes, but the smoke is still blazing hot so it burns your throat and even lungs as well. Its hell... literally.

Get yourself a good 5-6 inch long glass pipe and you'll be in heaven. You can also vaporize in a pipe by holding the blue part of the flame close to the bud but not quite burning it. Just inhale slowly with the "shotgun hole" half-way open so the flame doesn't suck into the bud, but you're still drafting the vapors into the pipe. Then when you've had enough vapor, throw the "toast" away or (if you want) put the flame on it and get the different (but still nice) taste of that thick smoke.

Pipes just taste better. Plus you get more THC per hit. And if you're concerned about tar you can always vaporize with a pipe too.

Experienced smokers know. Honey hits off the top. Toss it in the gutter or in a field if you're in a pinch. Vaporize with it. Burn with it. More THC. Better taste. 5-6" long so it's smooth....

and if I might add, easy maintenance.

The rest are just toys that look cool. They still get you high, but I prefer a nice glass pipe for flexibility, ease of use and convenience.

Vaporizers win hands down, but i aint dropping 300 on one haha...

as for bongs vs pipes, bongs anyday. I own both, 2 pipes, and a nice 1.5 ft bong. My bong is the only thing that can give me freaking tunnel vision after hitting it. Thats feeling like ohhhhhhh crap that was a big ass hit...

Pipes just get you a little high to be honest...when you don't want to cough just get the feeling...plus sometimes you suck in the ash, and hot smoke does not taste good unfiltered...

Not to mention im hardly 'on the go' and need a pipe to smoke out of. I'm always smoking at my pad, so bong is the way to go.
