fert with a high Nitrogen fert in veg..when they start flowering give them a high Phospherous fert with low N. If using chemical ferts start with low strength so you dont burn them

I only gave mine ferts twice at 1/3rd strength(or less) but they also have some composted manure mixed in.

I got a late start planting (beginning of June) but here in Midwest, the weather wasn't the most cooperative in May. I have no real idea what I should do next or how I'm doing so far. I have seen many people point newbies towards the grow FAQ, but try as I might, I can't find the grow FAQ on this site.
