It's a simple, cheap, organic carbon source.
Resins and terpenes (give it the aromas) are big molecules with lots of carbon forming their structure..
Giving the plant the building blocks will make it easier for it to produce more resins.

molasses is a sugar, 'carb-booster' ... helps the plant build bigger buds ... as with anything, it will be over-done ... I'm using 'Plantation' brand' organic, blackstrap molasses (unsulfured) ... does the same thing as the high-dollar 'carb-loader' stuff ... one teaspoon dissolved in a gallon of water, once during the last few days of vegging, and again in the middle of flowering, is how I use it ... if overdone, can be a sticky mess, and can definitely attract insects ... :smokin: ... damn, Stinky, ya posted while I was typing again ( I am NOT stalking you ) ...

grocery store, for sure ... would probably cost triple at a grow-store ... there's different kinds, so be sure you get 'blackstrap', 'un-sulphured' ... :smokin:

I'm doing the same darn thing - only with three moms and no Ben & Jerry's.

That does it! I'm going to the store right now for ice cream AND molasses.
