I spread my knowledge of the plant all day, everyday, to anyone and everyone. Weed should soon be legal in my state too....not as legal as it is now, but with that new initiative which I am pretty sure should pass if we get enough signatures, people here can help the cause without fear.

I don't know about you all but since I've started smoking....things have changed.....for the better....
I'm not saying I wouldn't like to see more change but I am not complaining about the situation either...

I absolutely think that if every regular and casual user of mj went public with it, it would be legalized in at most a couple of years.

I think all of us want to be public and convince others, but we're afraid of the law. If one person is magnanimous about legalization and acts on it, he will be singled out and persecuted (like marc emery). We are all eager to be transparent with weed, we just feel to isolated in doing so. If we have direction and organization, we will campaign for mj with alacrity. Such organization actually exists, like NORML, etc.

I can stand up and have. It's a little easier since I don't smoke myself and can prove that with a drug test--and also since I don't grow.

I have now written to my senators and legislators, at both the state and national levels, three times about medical marijuana in Texas and decriminalization. I also give money to NORML because I think they're our best hope as lobbyists here in the U.S.. I will probably have an even better ability to be heard by these institutions and organizations once I have my medical degree.

If I were called upon to put on a professional suit and go testify tomorrow in favor of cannabis, particularly medicinal, before the U.S. Congress and Senate in that wonderful marble Senate Hearings Room, I'd be on the next plane.

Yes, I'd stand up.

Here are somethings you can do to legally help.

-Vote
-Write Federal congress
-Stop paying Income taxes (you can. look it up) all that money goes to the "war on drugs" anyway.
-Strike/picket
-Donate money to people who are doing something about it

Free Venice, not sure where you got your facts, but not all tax money goes to the war on drugs. Just a very small percentage. Check out the federal budget sometime. And this link has some good, easy-to-understand info, too:

ive been working on a plain. im a grower in a non med state. When i clone i clone like 50 plus clones a week and only use like 10. im getting 48-49 out of 50 to root so i need up with like 35 extra a week. so im been thinking of going around and planting them all over the place, i mean every flowerbed in my area could have one in time. you think people would view me as the did Johnny Appleseed. of course this will bring heat, but im not sweeting the heat. Ill do my time for something i believe in. if i do it ill have to quit my grows and do it on a huge scale.

Depending on what the task was yeah I'd probably help out. Pass out flyers...thats easy, though I doubt it'd lead to legalization, it could definitely help. Actually weed is illegal because the public wants it illegal, if the gov. finds out otherwise they will do whatever gets votes, or so a high times article thinks.

but yeah if it was an easy task and there wasn't a real risk for me (like major legal trouble) then I'd stand the hell up in an instant
