I am going to get a new car towards the end of the year im looking at citroen saxo (vtr) or vts, but i would buy it standard and then modify it myself instead of buying one thats already been modified because it would most likely have a fucked engine due it the previous owner probably being a boy racer. Anyway (not gonna buy a midified one gonna buy it standard) what do you think of these modifications these people have made to their citroen saxos. Citroen : £1200 OR MAKE ME AN OFFER Citroen : Saxo VTS Citroen : Rating: 5

I hope I did not insult you, CC, that was not at all my intention, youre a cool guy and I'm not a meanie. I just think the difference in whats big over here and whats big over there is fun to ponder!
And I drive a honda accord, not anything fancy or lay worthy

If I had to hunt around for a car in Europe I would be looking for a VW GTI for sure. I have always liked them, but the newest body style was a disappointment. The style I think 94-99 is my favorite.
Muscle cars are beautiful beyond belief but aren't European fuel prices even higher than what we are experiencing Stateside?

Yeah they are more like classic cars over here, its funny how different cars are more popular in different countries.
But im sure there must be plenty of people who are into and drive modified cars over there.

Yeah there are. One of the prettiest cars in town is my friend's custom restoration of a Karmann Ghia. All the extraneous trim is gone, it has been slightly and tastefully lowered, and it has a fresh paint job that looks like quicksilver in the sunlight and sharkskin in the shade. It's really unusual. There are several local collectors with Novas and Chevelles and even some nice Mopar stuff- my ex has a restored 69 Charger 440- but that antique VW is one of a kind.
